2026-04-15T16:39:58+00:00

It was another busy year at Colorado Industrial Recycling.  We continue to make investments to expand our operational capacity, while working hard to maintain our rigorous standards for service, safety, and environmental sustainability.  These efforts involved making investments in property and equipment.  It also involved investing in our people; we promoted two long-tenured employees into management positions.  In 2025, Colorado Industrial Recycling was recertified as a gold member of the Colorado Green Business Network (CGBN).  We remain the only recycler in Colorado to have achieved this prestigious honor. Why Can’t CIR Take My Appliance?

2024-08-15T20:21:26+00:00

Unfortunately, Colorado Industrial Recycling does not accept appliances with refrigerants. Air conditioners, refrigerators, and freezers contain refrigerant gases known collectively as freon. If mismanaged, freon can cause harm to the environment. Given the potential for harm, it is important that consumers are educated about how best to manage their unwanted appliances.
